Clocked Out.
Teed Off.
Clocked Out.
I'm 19, an electrical apprentice, and I golf with guys who work as hard on the course as they do on the job.
Monday through Friday I'm pulling wire in somebody's attic. Saturday I'm on the first tee at 6 am with guys who've never been fitted for a club in their life. We're not shooting par. We're shooting the breeze, arguing over gimmes, and losing balls we can't afford to lose.
That's the crowd nobody makes gear for. Golf brands sell to guys in country clubs. We're the guys in the parking lot changing out of work boots.
So I started Blue Collar Bogeys. Same hats, different crowd.
Here's the part nobody talks about on a golf course.
Earlier this year, I found a lump. I thought it was nothing, until it wasn't. Turned out to be testicular cancer. I caught it in time. A lot of guys don't, not because it's hard to beat, but because checking your balls takes 30 seconds and nobody wants to be the guy who brings it up. In fact, most dudes spend more time looking for their balls in the woods!
So I'm bringing it up. 10% of every order goes to the Testicular Cancer Foundation.
Buy a hat, check your balls! I want to raise awareness for this issue.
